Circa 1898 monkey fur and silk velvet cape.
This is magnificent. It has a corded design over the entire cape as well
as streams of glass beads. The neck folds down and is trimmed with monkey
fur as well as both sides of the front. It has a single hook and eye
closure at the neck. The inside is lined in a heavy cotton fabric. It is
jet black. Although there is minor wear, for it's age, it is in absolutely
marvelous condition. It is about 21" long.

VINTAGE PENDLETON
Stunningly beautiful
must-have wool weave vintage Pendleton overcoat.
It is magnificent! The colors blend together beautifully with
complementary charcoal and heather grey, deep red, and white tweed-like
appearance. The lining is red silk. Buttons are red leather
(one is slightly chipped), side slit pockets,
and a faux strap on each sleeve. As all Pendleton; impeccable
workmanship! Besides the button, the only problem I found was the
inside/back of one pocket, which is partially lined in silk, is
frayed. The pocket itself is a thick, heavy drill, and has no
holes, it's only the backside of the pocket flap. It is gorgeous,
professional, elegant, and playful all wrapped into one!
Bust is 42".
Waist is 42".
Length is 38".
Sleeves are 16 from under arm".

Totally funky and mod, 1960's medium-weight
polyester knit jacket in red, white, and blue. It has a geometric,
allover print on the outer and the lining is solid blue. This is a good
weight for the spring because it isn't very heavy. If you're feeling
patriotic, parade yourself around in this. It is bright, and bold, and
sure to draw attention. It's meant to wear open and doesn't have any
means of closure. It appears to be hand made and is in mint condition.
Bust will fit approximately 44", length is 38", and sleeves are 15" from
under arm.

Chic
1940's tweed black and white overcoat by "A Present
Vogue." Typical 1940's era A-line cut with a matching,
attached tie at the neck with silver caps at the end of the ties.
The caps have some rhinestones inset, but quite a few are missing.
Easily replaced, but not noticeable since the silver is so bright.
The fabric is a thick wool weave with a tweed look. The inside is
lined in silk with a fancy scroll topstitching design on the inner
lining, which was also typical of the better made coats in the early
part of last century. What is unusual about this lovely coat is
the sleeves. Most coat sleeves from the 40's were 3/4
length. These are tapered, full-length sleeves,; which is great
for the winter. Because of the stylish design, this overcoat would
look wonderful over suits and office apparel as well as your fancy
evening wear. It's as versatile as it is stylish! Mint
except for the missing rhinestones. It does not have buttons or a
belt, and is meant to wear open to display your fine garments
underneath. Bust is approximately 44", length is 45",
and sleeves are 18" from under arm to wrist.

Here's a
lovely 1960's full-length coat in deep cobalt blue. The blue is darker than
the photos show. It has what I believe is a silver fox fur collar with
hooks so it can be worn around your neck for warmth in the winter. It has
the classic A-line cut and huge buttons down the front. It is made of wool,
fully lined in royal purple silk, has side slit pockets, and is in mint/like
new condition. Elegant and sophisticated for evenings or office. If you
need to look like something off the Paris runway, this will do the trick.
Bust is 44", length is 39", and sleeves are 3/4 length .

Fabulous 1970's red-wine colored, full-length
suede coat with a button front, loads of unusual pockets and flaps, a wide
70's collar, matching belt and it is fully lined in satin. It is in
excellent condition with very little wear, except for a small spot on the
back that looks like it was caught on something. Very small spot, and
you won't see it unless you are specifically looking for it. It would
be an easy mend for anyone in the leather business; that is if you even
decide to bother. No stains or odors, and in remarkable condition for
its age. I know the coloring looks funny in the pictures, but I just
don't see it when I am looking at the coat. The color is very even,
with no staining or discoloration like the pictures would have you believe.
I think it may have been the way the light hit it or something. Bust: 38"
Waist: 36"
Hips measured 9" below waist: 36"
Length: 45"
Sleeves measured from under arm to wrist: 17"
