Awesome 50's deadstock necklace made of either lucite,
plastic of some sort, or bakelite. I don't know which. These were stored
in a basement for over 40 years after the close of an old jewelry store.
It is a grand old piece with round antique-white beads and rectangular
beads with a layered appearance. These rectangular beads look like they
were stacked by color and pressed into a single bead--almost looks
inlaid. Each bead measures 1 1/2" long while the round beads
are approximately
1/8" in diameter. It measures 29" from end to end. Never worn deadstock

Made for a princess!
This stunning rhinestone necklace with its
"V" drop, would grace any gown, but I can particularly see it with a
low-cut princess neckline! All rhinestones are prong set, and the
closure is secure and tight. There is some darkening on the bottom
teardrop stone near the bottom. I think it may have gotten wet.
I think it needs to simply be removed, and cleaned because the whole stone
is not affected, just a small part of it near the bottom. The
necklace measures 15" from end to end.
